Take care of your animals!
| Plight Of The Wild Ones was an article on animal cruelty. In soutern california there are many animal shelters. One is the Forever Wild exotic animal refuge. In the Forever wild santuary there is a six year old black leapord with no toes. The reason it had no toes was its owner had chopped them of and used them in a "voodoo" ritual.
The forever wild santuary has never been accused of any violations by federal or state regulators. The forever wild santuary gets an annual 30,000 dollar budget which goes to feed the animals 2000 pound of beef a month and the rest goes to pay for vetinary bills, licening fees, cages, shelter maintenanse, a website, and associated costs. This santuary is located in a desert by mount baldy.
In february former tiger rescue owner, John Weinhart was convicted of animal cruelty after riverside animal control found the cats living in filty conditions with little food and water. During their raid they found another unpleasant peice of evidence. A freezer stuffed full of nintey total dead cats fifty eight of These were cubs. He was found guilty of child endangerment and animal cruelty.
Out of all fifty states Twenty of them ban the private ownership of a large cat. California is one of them. In the other thirty states you can buy a tiger cub for as little as three hundred dollars. The tigers in the thirty states that dont ban them are kept in either a backyard or a basement. This shows how easily one could purchase a deadly animal.
Its good to know that there is a nice place where an animal could go if its owner was sick and twisted. Forever wild santuary has a six foot high chain link fence topped with a line of barbed wire so no animal can escape and die of starvation.
